Tatsuya Narikawa (Hiroshima University) Title: Testing modified gravity with halo density profiles Abstract: Modifications of gravity provide alternative explanation to dark energy for late-time cosmic acceleration of the Universe. Many modified gravity models (MG) introduce a new scalar degree of freedom (dof) which affects the gravitational force and Poisson equation. However, the solar-system tests require MG to shield the scalar dof in dense regions. We have investigated how the screening mechanism of the scalar dof works on halo scales. References: T.
