Title ： Insights into the 21cm field from the cross-power spectrum at the epoch of reionization
Abstract ： The 21-cm line is am important probe of the epoch of reionization (EoR). In this talk, I will first briefly review the recent observations aimed at detecting EoR 21-cm signals and then introduce our recent work on cross-correlation signals between 21-cm and galaxies. We found that a key transition in redshift occurs when the 21-cm field shifts from being positively correlated with the galaxy distribution to being negatively correlated. The cross-correlation technique not only helps reduce foreground contamination in the 21-cm field but also assists in discriminating between 21-cm models. I will also discuss the observational requirements for future galaxy surveys and future prospects for improving our 21cm-galaxy modeling.
