[2018/08/27] : The HeSO survey project was launched.



Scientific Goals

Our purpose is to discover and investigate celestial objects with short time variability of order sec using the Tomo-e Gozen Camera onboard the Kiso tellescope. The targets are, for example,

  • spinning or pulsating white dwarfs
  • transiting planets around white dwarfs
  • asteroid disruptions by white dwarfs
  • quasars
  • ... .
